We’ve given you a lot of updates lately about the growing global adoption of sustainable fuels. But what’s even better is the recognition that methane is 28 times worse than any other greenhouse gases.

Just last week, a study published in the journal Science revealed that methane-detecting satellites have made great strides in exposing sources of high methane emissions across the globe. It came as no surprise to us that these “super-emitting events” are often due to shoddy infrastructure or maintenance practices, which cause damaged pipelines and disastrous leaks—and that these emissions are not even included in most national greenhouse gas inventories.

Fortunately, corporations and even governments all over the world are starting to catch on, and are turning to processes, such as ours, to turn methane into sustainable fuels. Not only will our low-cost fuel production plants help reduce methane emissions by turning waste into fully compatible transportation fuels—they’re also easy to assemble, require little front-end equipment, generate their own energy, are completely autonomous, and are monitored by satellite. In fact, our FlareBuster™ model even extinguishes methane flares as part of its process.

How’s that for clean energy?
